Way back when
Jun. 29th, 2006 06:56 pmA note to history-lovers:
get_medieval does medievally comics.
Went swimming, so now feel like I have a huge lung capacity, but I think that's just my poor lungs screaming out "AIR!" every so often. Really need to learn to pace self.
In not-so-unrelated news, mom's riling on me for not having called the bio prof ages ago. Sure, I had the whole month to go see him but I also had nothing to ask. In fact, I still have nothing to ask, but at least I have a clearer view on what I want to study. Still have no idea what the use of talking to him might be, seeing as I don't want to study in Spain an' all.
Brother sent email (*gasp*) saying he'd call (*gasp*).
...so, waiting then.
Have just googled "maximus/commodus". Have no idea why.
Well, ok, I know *why*. I want to read slash. Just don't know why the sudden interest in that particular slash. There does, of course, seem to be some around.
Except I seem to have less and less pacience for grammar, spelling and stylist errors or faux-pas, which means that instead of skimming for the steamy slash, I instead kep up a running commentary like:
"That's unnecessary description...a comma should go there...yes, I get it, he's tired, stop it with the one-word sentences...no, that will not make the paragraph better...you *cannot* "grit" words!"
and so forth.
