Ok, so new plan of action: I might miss you in Kiwiland this time, but once you're there and set and awesome and things, you can meet me in Japan for my next work trip. See? Solutions! Sure, you're going to tell me "Uh, Japan is far away maybe?" but I will pish-posh your objections and note that it's the same ocean so it should be a quickie flight up, wot wot.
