He hated this. Hated watching Icarus walk out there alone to play bait. Sure, the second team was guarding the perimeter, and Chip knew he could count on them to keep the infected off their backs. But that wasn’t what worried him. The fish they were after was so much worse than the hordes of raving mad people filling the city. What Icarus was trying to hook, and what Crowley was hoping to catch, was the sort of thing that set the gas station on fire in the first place.

I've done pretty good word-count wise but I don't know how useable it is. IMMA KEEP GOING THO. And I've found a writing book I really like amongst the pile of ~Do It My Way~, it's called Write and it's got really brief How To Write instructions from dozens of different writers and they disagree like whoa. XD I kinda knew that there was no one way, but seeing it in the same book has been something of an epiphany.

Yeah, I think writing is like 80% "just do it your own way", 10% "read all the things" and the last 10% is "so this is how maybe you should do it". As long as the story gets written, that's all that matters (this month, at least).
