Sickle's Brief Review of Doctor Who's "The Impossible Austronaut", 6x01:

• That Stetson was cool, damnit!


• It's hard to feel grief over the Doctor's death when there's a whole 90% of the episode left, and the whole season to go through yet. He'll be alright, and they'll rewrite time, because I doubt Moffat can close the book on Doctor Who.


• I ♥ Rory (and his short-sleeved shirts).


• MARK SHEPPARD MARK SHEPPARD MARK SHEPPARD! (Translation: Oh, the squee!)


• Mark Sheppard, please read me the phone book. And the dictionary. And the encyclopedia.


• The monsters - apparently called The Silence - were not rating high on my fear-ometer.


• No fair, starting the season with a cliffhanger!

Sickle's Brief Review of Supernatural's "Frontierland", 6x18:

• Damn did Jared look good in that cowboy shirt. (His torso just goes on and on.)


• On a similar note, I loved Dean in both his hats. See? Stetsons are cool! And his duster! Ngh!


• I really liked Rachel and did a giant fist-punch when she called the boys out on how they've been pretty lousy friends to Castiel.


• I swear, if they make Castiel the villain - if what he does is so unforgivable that the boys and the audience have to turn on him - I will turn on the writers with a vengeance.


• I absolutely adored the Castiel&Bobby scenes ♥


• The FedEx scene? Totally brought flashbacks of Good Omens, especially with the guys at the postal service taking bets over what's in the box.
