bending_sickleMom´s watched "Walk the line" and said that Joaquin (Phoenix) is a "monada", which is to say a cute, adorable little thing.
I´ve sent her links about "Serenity", hopeing to win her over to that cause as well.
Have set up Saturday evening as an English conversation class for this guy here in Cubelles. So totally using the Dead Parrot Sketch if we ever do idioms.
I´ve been reading Pyramids over at the British Council library (instead of paying the obscene amount of cash they want for a subscription) by Terry Pratchett and have come to the conclusion that Terry really knows how to explain a certain confusion I´m experiencing right now:
