bending_sickleI don´t think I can sell myself well. Or at all. Then again the interviewer had really bad questions.
The job was as an assistant to the woman who organizes the shifts for the airline people (flight attendants, pilots, etc.). Now this is heavily based on a program, simple enough.
Then the guy asks me how I am in a group, whether I can stand up and be firm and a whole bunch of other stuff. I don´t see what this has to do with the job, not really, unless they intend to lock me in a room with the crew and have them whine* at me, "but I don´t want to work that Satuday".
The other question was even more vague. "How are you with numbers?"
"Well, sir, I tend to slap them around if they´re not nice to me, but have been known to give them chocolate as a reward for behaving and lining up straight in their corners. Except for number 8. Hate the little bugger."
I mean, what can you say to such a vague question? They´re not going to ask me to do mental arithmatic, or do calculus, or stats, or anything. It´s just looking at itty bitty numbers, seeing if everyone has numbers... They´re really dates, not numbers per se, but let´s let that slide for now. I don´t get it.
I didn´t ask abot the pay, or whether it would be for a full day or half day (which is the only option I can take). As I said, didn´t impress them. But I don´t think I´d be able to take the job anyway because it takes ages to get there.
However, MCarmen´s hubby, Kique, who´s boss of a budding company** has just given me a long shpeel offering me a job anytime. Very flexible on the amount and time of the hours and all. If nothing pops up by April, I guess that´s what I´ll be doing. Sounds sweet though, because it´d be a good environment to enter the workforce in.
Now, on a completely different note, I´ve got to start downloading fan vids for Buffy, Angel and Firefly because they are just too pretty. I know I made Jo watch a few. I´m going to start making a list of sites. I don´t know if any of the readers are interested in these fandoms, or in fanfic and vids in general, adn really this is mainly for my own list-addicted mind,
Note that I´m working with a really old (i.e. 1 year) list of vids and vidders.

There´s a few new ones which I´ll have to sift through, but here´s some I remember enjoying:
From Buffy: "Bad Boys", "I´m going slightly mad", "Destiny calling"
From Angel: "Days" (it´s stuck in my head again and I haven´t even watched it)
From Firefly: "Wanted Dead or Alive"***
Morbid Much: I´ve seen "World on fire", "Like a stone", "Uninvited". Morbid´s favorite vids he´s made: Stop the World, Down with the Sickness, Angel Jam, Vindicated, Slay Him, Kill Bill, Harder to Breathe, Megalomaniac, Buffy Jam, Until the Day, Inside Out. Affiliates
The Power that Vids which seems to be down (ahhhh) but had the most amazing vids, like "Young and hopeless", "Mad World" "Absolutely", "Unwanted", "What it´s like", "Mas", "Not enough", "I wanna talk about me". She seems to have moved to Idaresay though there´s no linky-links yet.
Effulgent Reflections: see "Time after time", "You" and "Angel". And check out "Today is the day" and "Serenity".
Wolfpup Serenade has a good collection, incl. "One moment more", "United states of Spike" (hi-larious), "So sad, so lonely", "This point in my life" (gorgeous), "You don´t bring me flowers", "I believe"

spikeylover, who has gorgeous vids like "Once upon a time", "Ghost of a rose", "stray cat strutt", "Hurt", "Luckey ones", "Crush", "Please Mr Marsters" (using a song from Listener, who´s got really nice original songs and poems). Plus a whole bunch of others which are newish and have won awards.

I really would like to see some Buffy Season 7 again, now that I´m more familiar with Nathan Fillion. It´d be interesting to see him as a bad guy.
And yes, have ideas for vids of my own, but alas, no clips. Might have the software for it, though...
