I think I might have the Globo Sapiens Fanmix Tracklist all settled, although I don't have the actual songs or art covers. (And seeing as how I just figured out how to resize an image in Gimp, it may be a while yet.)

I might actually get to write a bit of Hero's Manual, which is shocking, and as far as The Balloonist's Wife is concerned, I'm still scared of tackling that scene I keep skipping over. (Also, Richard's hard, damn it.)

I've managed to catch up on the flist (except newletters), although I haven't read fics yet (neither the series I'm following nor The Dark Knight ones I've yet to discover).

Helped with the extroverting, got me to "meet" (and actually meet) nice folks and taught me a heck of a lot about anything from politics, sexuality, writing, how to deal with trolls, etc.

1. How about a brief introduction?

I can come up with loads of ideas but utterly fail at the follow-through, meaning there's a bunch of half-finished stuff I've sworn to tackle sometime. I'm flighty with the fandoms, and delve into original. I think my style changes with the topic and I struggle to write dialogue rather than just description.

2. What got you into fanfiction (and/or adopting muses)?

Daydreaming liek woah and reading fanfiction written by peers (which encourages one to try writing).

3. What kind of fanfiction do you write?

The kind where there's a bad grasp of the plot that's unfolding.

4. What is your most popular fic/muse, and why do you think people like it so?

I got good reviews for my finished Firefly fics, which was awesome. And a crack-addled made-for-meme Heroes thing made people laugh, which makes me very happy. As to why people like it, I don't know - just glad they do.

5. Forget other people, what is the fanfic/post/prompt you've written that you're most proud of?

Firefly's "All Things Copper" because it was my first finished fanfic ever, and one which actually got started as a fanfic, and not a random scribble.

6. Do you find writing easy? Hard? What aspects do you struggle with?

I find planning out the plot hard, and am still struggling with dialogue. Usually it's inspiration or motivation that I'm lacking, although writing-wise, I find Hero's Manual easy.

7. Do you write for the same pairings/characters?

Nope.

8. Write a few sentences of your favorite pairing or character.

I don't do favorites, sorry, but here's a Firefly River&Simon snippet from Undertow:

For every annoying trend and cliche, there's that one fic that makes it work beautifully. I don't much care for the ones imposing father- or mother-hood on the characters.

Self-insertion with a twist, but thankfully I've never actually finished those fics.

11. What was the first fandom you wrote for? Do you still write for it?

Privately, it was The Island of Doctor Moreau (film version). For internet-publication, Planet of the Apes (Tim Burton's 2001 film). And no.

12. Name your OTPs and explain what is it about them you love to write.

I has them not, but my "One True Character" is Psychotic Bastard (TM). Not that I write them, but hey, love them for their complexity.

13. What would you call your writing style?

Dependent on the story, I guess.

14. Do you read other people's writing? If so, what do you find yourself reading the most?

I read a hell of a lot more than I write. For educational purposes (of the, "how can I improve my own writing" variety) I tend to take note of the way the plot is introdued and developed and how the dialogue is written.

15. Name one thing you'd love to write but have been too afraid or shy to do.

Sex. I almost did in Four, but chickened out because it got too technical and there was no emotion.

16. Do you feel uncomfortable taking criticism? Or worse, do you have the dreaded bloated ego?

Getting near-to-no reviews, I might wibble at criticism if that's all there is. Constructive criticism is awesome, however. Positive reviews leave me gobsmacked and silently squeeing, "They liked it! They really liked it!"

17. When you write, is there anything that helps?

Re-reading what's been already been written to get the story back in my head, as well as the style. And hog-tying the muse to my side.

18. What inspires you?

Quotes, lyrics, dreams, tiny details on-screen...

19. Lastly, how would you sum up your fanfiction/RP experiences and you as a writer?

Inconsistent and prone-to-abandonment.
