I think I've done a decent job of scrounging up a presentation for tomorrow, but I'm going to take a little breather and go through it later. (Okay, I'm not completely happy with it - far from it - but it says the relevant points and has a few snazzy pictures (see below), so somewhat-yay.)

I've been compiling clips of T: TSCC becuase often I don't want to save the whole thing**, but some scenes are note-worthy (or just pretty). I've been doing the same for Peter and Sylar scenes, but that's because there will be fanvids. (In about ten years at this rate...)

I've just tried watching one of said clips, and I swear my computer is evil. It wasn't so much a video as it was a slideshow with running audio. But the video it originates from is fine, and it played fine on Moviemaker. This same thing happened with the Sylar Recap compilation I made, which apparently for others had no such glitches. This is bad, because I can't watch pretty Summer be all graceful-robotic-ballerina, or other people be equally pretty. Think of the pretty!

So I have a present and a favor for those willing. Here's a one-minute clip - not spoilery, just the three main characters joking about. Does it work? It is just me? (And no, I'm planning on putting them up on YouTube, save for one, 'cause they're just really random snippets and I don't want to be kicked off the boat.)

Alas, no shower!Brian, because printscreen didn't work and it literally takes hours to import a video, make clips and save it. Hoooouuuuurs. So have a random photo instead. I'll try later, I think, if only just for the sake of the manflesh. Yes, even if "Zach", with his hair and his gun, was the one who garnered all the female attention in the last post.

Hmm... I'll try reuploading the file.

The thing with AOL, I think, is that you've got two chapters which are, to the lazy scanner, mainly a rewrite of two episodes. (For the record, I like them.) New and interesting stuff only starts happening at the end of Chapter 2, and that's asking quite a bit of faith from new readers. So yeah, it's a slow start into AU territory, and a vague summary (I understand why, but it's still vague) and no big flashing pairing either (which is what catches many an eye). Maybe once you have the truly AU bit you can update the summary, maybe use that as a sort of Chapter 1 (for the wider audience).
