bending_sickle: (Kraken (boat))
I woke up this morning at 7:05 am, checked my schedule (always a good thing), and went back to sleep for 3 hours because I'd forgotten I didn't have class until 1:30 pm today. I promised myself I'd start thinking about the 5-page assignment I have to do for next week, figuring out exactly which 2 topics I want to discuss. Instead, I checked out [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes and my friends' page, cried over PostSecret.com (*shakes fist at [livejournal.com profile] blizzardcake*) and bookmarked yet more pages "for later".

I have this incredible ability to do nothing and be bored about it. I did fuck-all yesterday, too, just d/l a bunch of fanvids from [livejournal.com profile] obsessive24 and related. (A New Frontier by (someone else) won't work for me, which sucks, 'cause apparently it's brilliant.)

After all that lame-ass procrastination, I closed the computer and calculated what train I'd have to catch to get to class in time.

At which point I started panicking. Anxiety sucks, man. Even more when it's all sudden and "Boo! Ahaha, caught you unawares, did I, lousy human? Feel my jittery wrath!" And for no reason.

*freaks the fuck out*

*still freaking out* *still hasn't done shite* *offers three unrelated topics, with accompanying emotions, and a wistful list*

*thoughtful* - In my Abnormal Psychology course, my professor once said that, for us, human touch is one of the strongest reinforceres there are. I've never forgotten that.

*annoyed* - Thin walls - the kind you're wouldn't ever lean against for fear of falling through the thin plaster - totally suck at keeping out the neighbour's icky cigarette stink.

*horrified* - Oh dear gods, my bookmarked list is has no end!!!

Scottish poet-hero, Robert Burns may have written high-class stuff, but he also wrote and collected bawdy poems. Such as Nine Inch Will Please a Lady
