Lie down for an eon or two.*
Aug. 28th, 2007 03:52 pmThe room I was going to see today has been taken. I've got two semi-simultaneous appointments on Thursday, though I don't know if I'll see both of them. This is because with the first room, you have to accept on the spot (or someone else will) and I don't want to be all, "Well, it's ok, and I like it, but let's see the other one" followed by "Omg it's a rat pit, I want the previous one" followed by "We appologise but the first room has been rented. Welcome to the pt of rats."
The information session for EU students (1 of 3 sessions I've been booked for) was absolutely pointless. They handed out two forms, the Town Hall Registration and the University Registration, and actually went through it and made us fill it in right then and there there. A bloody "how to fill a form" session. And then they'd go over the forms, take the university one, make you an appointment for the town hall and send you on your merry. Unless you're like me and don't have an address, in which case they go straight to the "sending you off", but without that extra dash of merry.
So I don't know what I'm going to do now, and I'm in constant physical pain and so very tired.
"A multitude of sighs", that's what I'd meant to write in the last entry. That's me right now.
Me with 4 minutes of internet left.
Write to me, people, if you're reading this. I don't want to sound needy but by gods do I need all the support I can get right now.
Yesterday I spoke with Alberto and he gave me a booster shot of optimism. So nice to have that again.
Ok, posting, got 2 minutes left.
