What the pants do you want?
Oct. 19th, 2006 12:01 pmAm wearing embarassingly-tight pants which were, up until a few months ago*, roomy and comfortable.
They have not shrunken.
In other news, mom sent me the new World Ranking of Universities list, and am shocked to see U of Chicago at number 11. I feel so ambitious. Particularly pleased to see where me ol' alma mater is ranked.
Although it does upset me, that people with worse grades from a weaker university have oodles of "preference for admission" points for gradschools because their not international/overseas/foreign students. I hate the system. Not even the minoroity positive discrimination aspect of selection (the "we have to have x % of students who are y) helps.
Yarg.
* Note to self: never, ever, go for 4 months straight without wearing pants. Ever. Too much persepective loss involved.
