I spent the entire Wednesday morning sitting in the Ministry of Education's Barcelona office,( Read more... )
However, incredibly elated that my mom* sent me my brother's thesis (which he sent her). I read** the abstract and contents and ended up looking very confuzzled. It's about flames of some kind in hydrostatic atmospheres. Which I highly doubt translates to what my brother told me it was, in sister-dummy-speak: "exploding stars".
Of course I'll read it.
Last weekend I went out for dinner with my flatmate (Ines), her boyfreind (Jota, as in "J"), her sister (Anna), her sister's boyfriend (Mika), and said sister's boyfriend's friend (Jean-Luc)***. ( Read more... )
Oh sweet gods, hot library smut. XD

I've also been reading about the grue on Wiki and on Uncyclopedia.
I've also been reading a bunch of comics over at www.xkcd.com. Many are funny, a few are touching, and one is perfect: this one here. For me, at least. Because while I don't walk into a house wondering if it could be forcified vs. raptors (or zombies, for that matter), I've realized I actually do have a recurring dream. I'm sure you can guess what it is by now: raptors in the house. Yessir. I've had numerous dreams of a hoard of rapotors trying to get into my house, and occasionally getting in. On one memorable occasion, they actually ripped me to shreds, which was very distrubing considering I sometimes have very tactile dreams (read: very real physical sensations).
There's some awesome light-emiting shirts/ recently developed, and a man who can dance every style out there. PLus, I'm sure this Chris Rock clip about what to do and what notto do whilst driving is funny, but this computer doesn't have a working sound chip. So argh. Enjoy, me mateys. Furthermore, enojy reading EIzzard transcripts because I am bored. For me?
* Yes, you read that right: mom. Not sibling-in-question, nope.
** Also read the dedication, which was, adorably, "dedicated to my parents".
*** All French, or raised in France, except myself and Jota. The French boys were adorable and really sweet.
