Your weapon is...a saucepan. Use it well.
Aug. 30th, 2006 01:42 pmYesterday, after chatting about Battle Royale in the office, I was shocked to see it on TV. So I watched it, and was greatly amused by my first* watching of a Japanese movie.
The idea itself is freaky. ( Here are two summaries of the film. )
Also, The Emmy Results. It's sad that I hardly recognize these shows.
In other news, writing somewhat explicit slash scenes is freakin' hard.
In squeeful news, mom's suggested I get a plane ticket across the pond for December, and thus the holidays. Much squee. Even more squee considering that maybe, just maybe, I can go see my brother's grad' convocation. (He's refused to let us go to his thesis defence which, from his POV I get, but other other: *whine*)
In the interest of irony, ( I forgot to mention that yesterday )
darthmaligna once again provides the funny with a YouTube vid choice. PLus, be sure to read her snippet of a fic she's writing, which is here. It's both funny and thought-provoking.
Edit: The fic, "Of All HUman Blessings", is up.
* First, I know. I'm way behind in the times.
** Personally, though, I wouldn't trust my imagination, because it tends to say there's a murderous reaver hiding on the other side of the door and that there's a great white in the swimming pool. My imagination hates me.
