This was supposed to be posted hours ago, but the sudden death of the internet followed by the Ghost of Limited or No Connectivity, both accompanied by the frustrated grieving of those left behind, made that a tad difficult. Thankfully, cortical electrodes were applied, reuters were un- and re-plugged, and a neural reaction was had. In other words: *smooch* I loves you, 'Net. Don't ever leave me!
This just in from Neil Gaiman:
So I'm going to tell you my favourite part of the evening, which was talking to Kate Magowan about Una (which is the part she plays in the film), and her calling over her husband to meet me, a husband who turned out to be John Simm, who interrupted my stumbling burbles of "ulp Life on Mars erk The Master" with his own starry-eyed "glunk The Sandman!" and pointed out that that meant he'd been a fan of mine for much longer than I'd been a fan of his so hahah and there you go.
I'm imagining the two of them going "ulp" and "glunk" and fanboying each other and it's just so adorable. (And I'm sorta praying that they hit it off, keep in touch, and eventually work on something together. 'Cause man, awesome much?) Click on the "John Simm" link to read what Neil and daughter Maddy thought of the DW finale and Simm's performance.
In other news, I've gone to City Hall to register. They may complain about my birth certificate being from Spain but my having been born in Belgium. It is the only birth certificate I have, and it certainly is what passes for a birth certificate in Spain. (It's a copy of my page from the "Family Book" each family has upon marriage, I think, sent in direct from the relevant spanish Ministry.) Now, finally, with the proof of registry-in-progress, I can finally register at the university and get a spiffy ID card. (And pay, but that's not half as spiffy.)
ETA: I seriously need to make more Bunny icons. And LoM quote icons.
ETA2: The soles of my feet are peeling like no man's business. The kind of peeling of a good sunburn. WTF, foot, wtf.

** I haven't read all of these. However, I find that DW fanfic (like Firefly) generally has a pretty high quality all around.
