Airplane travel is nature's way...*
Sep. 24th, 2007 09:53 pm...of making you look like your passport photo.*
I'd write, but I can't think straight, I am that tired.
Instead, I'm listing. Since Friday morning, I've:
1) had stats (9-12, meaing I was up by 7 and out of the house by 8)
2) biked 6 hours (12-7)
3) "slept" in an airport (out of the house by 11, there by 12 am, asleep 1-3 in fitful bits sitting scrunched up on a wooden bench, after having had two Burger King hot chocolates, the first made from milk, the second, water)
4) had a Whopper at 4 am (best damn tasting thing ever) then gotten on a plane to Barcelona at 7 am
5) zoomed through Barcelona, cut my hair, bought pants and shoes, then zoomed to Cubelles
6) repacked a suitcase, opened boxes, closed boxes, selected CD's, then fallen into bed at 10:30 pm
7) wrestled self out of bed at 6 am to get to the airport for 9 am plane to Schipol, lumbered back to Den Haag, collapsed on the couch 1 pm - 10 pm
8) had stats, seen stats fly right over my head, and biked for another 5 hours in pouring rain that felt like bleedin' ice pellets and gotten soaked through
9) groceries and finally sofa at 8 pm
10) utter lack of will resulting in absolutely nothing happening
I don't think I could tell you my name at this point.

crazy_celebrian's posted a lovely Theta/Koschei (i.e. Doctor/Master, or is that Master/Doctor?) fanimx called Fade Into You. I'd be waxing poetical on the music, and not just the artwork, if I could download the damn thing. It keeps freezing up on the download manager, and on the Mega Manager I've got absolutely zero action going on. I'm all out of downloading slots for today, so can't do nothin'.If anyone want's to be a doll and try downloading this at their end, to check? And sending it to me. *pouts*
ETA: Apparently we're getting the same MO for
fallen_iceangel's Monty Python collection. (Mega link) Curses!
Songs with lyrics written by honest-to-gods authors, like Neil Gaiman, and Lemony Snicket.
Neil Gaiman goes to the market in Japan and posts a slideshow about it. Ah, Neil... (He apparently brings good luck too.)
xkcd talks about the values of adopting the 28 hour sleep-cycle. See also polyphasic sleep. Damn you, civilized society, for making these things impossible for most folks!
