...and sing Pat Benetar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" backwards. At least this will make more sense then the movie.*
I've been asking around at different schools about driving courses. Yep. Me. Up with the driving. (Eeeeek!) But, you know, necessary skill, and as Captn. Jack would say, we have the time.
In fact, we have so much time, we - that is, I - have watched Heroes, eps. 2-12. I loves it. Hiro makes me laugh aloud all the time, he's so wonderful and adorable.
Things are pretty calm other than that.
Also, you may, or may not, know that I adore Neil Gaiman. He's writing a new book, currently referred to as The Graveyard Book. He talks about it on YouTube. The sound's a bit off. (It's amazing watching a writer go through the whole process from idea-conception to publication, especially if you love his works. I am so, so glad that modern technology gave us blogs.)

Ever wanted to know the innermost secrets of the Ninja tribe? Wait no more! Ask a Ninja! (Warning: The funny may react adversely with your need to breathe.) I particularly recommend "How to Kill a Ninja" and the Special Delivery: Pirates of the Caribbean.
As I was wandering through the internet, looking for peanut butter sauce recipes - my brother left me 2 jars of organic PB he'd brought for friends he then failed to meet up with - I found a wonderful blog, Cooking With Amy.

Date: 2007-05-05 11:42 pm (UTC)I recommend them ALLI suggest Neverwhere and/or Stardust if you want a short introduction to all things Gaiman. (Or you can cheat and watch the BBC series for Neverwhere, or the upcoming film for Stardust.) If you're feeling ambitious try American Gods (a book so large you can squish small rodents with it). My particular favorite is the hilarious Good Omens (cowritten with Terry Pratchett). There's first chapters and excertps (http://www.neilgaiman.com/exclusive/bookexcerpts) for Neil's books here.Although if you can't get a hold of his works, I highly (very highly) recommend you listen to him read some short stories (e.g. here (http://fora.tv/fora/showthread.php?t=397)). Or read them online (http://www.neilgaiman.com/exclusive/shortstories) (some of them, at least, including the Hugo Nominated one).
...and that was probably more than you wanted to know.
