Have, however, found a promising fic based on OUaTiM. Alas, there's just one chapter, one year old.

Found an even more promising (and indeed, written) fic, called Sands Through the Hourglass by Scarlett Burns (volta1228). Chapter 38 seems to be down, but it seems to be really, really good (if not widely read). Have saved a lot of chapters for later.
