Do not seek for warm fire under cold ice.*

Remember how I told you my coworker praised Song of Fire and Ice?
Here's a 1983 cartoon-film titled Fire and Ice which has nothing to do with it, but is still cool. (Wiki) Co-done with Frank Frazetta, legendary artist.

Wowza, the things on YouTube.

MikeSoCalUSA has the rest.

nooooooooooooooooooooo... run dammit run!!! Gah, the last part of the clip was starting to remind me of Mel Gibson's Apocalypto~~

n.b. It seems strange that someone named Juliana would name her son Necron...

On another note, I have a 1978 version of The Lord of the Rings which is strikingly similar to the artwork here :) Actually...on further research, Ralph Bakshi directed both!

Run awaaaay! Run away from that LotR cartoon! There is no recovering from it once you've watched it. *shudder*

...unless you've seen it and like it. Then there's nothng I can do.

Unfortunately, I have seen it. I don't remember much though, because I refused to watch it a second time... I do however remember the mix between the animation and live people that scared the crap out of me :(

Smart woman. I rented it with a friend back in first year, and we didn't know whether to laugh or scream in terror.

The cartoon version of The Hobbit, however, is lovely. (Aparently there“s also going to be a film version of it, and they're fighting for Peter Jackson to direct it.)
